Grove Park – Sunset Mountain Neighborhood Association (GPSMNA) works to preserve and enhance the unique character of our historic neighborhood.

GPSMNA is a voluntary, non-profit organization committed to caring for our shared green spaces, fostering community connection, and advocating for residents' interests. Unlike an HOA, membership is always your choice. What binds us together isn't obligation — it's a shared commitment to making Grove Park – Sunset Mountain a place people are proud to call home.

Our parks

Our neighborhood is fortunate to encompass three beautiful public parks.

E.W. Grove Park

Established in 1909, this park was designed by Chauncey Beadle and has undergone extensive restoration to reflect its original vision.​

Griffing Boulevard Rose Garden

Revitalized in 2021, the garden features restored walkways, new plantings, and an irrigation system, enhancing its beauty and accessibility.​

Sunset Park

Currently under rejuvenation, plans are underway to restore and enhance this cherished green space for community enjoyment.​

Building community through connection

Throughout the year, GPSMNA hosts events that bring neighbors together, celebrate the character of our neighborhood, and strengthen our sense of community. From casual gatherings to special programs, these events offer opportunities to connect, share, and support one another — all while contributing to the vibrancy and resilience of Grove Park–Sunset Mountain.

Grove Park - Sunset Mountain Neighborhood Association is a designated non-profit 501 (c)3 Tax Exempt organization by the Internal Revenue Service. Our designation is a public charity and therefore contributions (excluding membership dues) made to our association are tax exempt under the Federal Tax Code.
