Whether it involves upkeep and expansion needs for the E.W. Grove Park, maintaining traffic islands, or simply coordinating a fall picnic or neighborhood yard sale, for the past 30 years the Association has been a conduit to the City Council, relevant elected officials, the Preservation Society and others, ensuring that our voice is heard and impactful.

The GPSMNA ….

• Is recognized by the City Council as a conduit for neighborhood concerns and representation.

• Provides an avenue of representation for the Grove Park/Sunset Mountain Neighborhood to the City.

• Participates in the Coalition of Asheville Neighborhoods.

• Sponsors events for the Neighborhood residents.

• Provides a forum for information on preservation, planning, traffic calming, crime alerts and City of Asheville announcements that impact the neighborhood
   

 

** The Grove Park- Sunset Mountain Neighborhood Association is a designated non-profit 503 (c)3 Tax Exempt organization by the Internal Revenue Service. Our designation is a public charity and therefore contributions made to our association are tax exempt under the Federal Tax Code.**
